Pharmacist (Full-Time or Part Time opportunity available)

Gordons Chemists is Northern Ireland’s largest Independent Pharmacy chain, with 54 stores throughout Northern Ireland and 9 stores in Scotland.

We are looking to recruit a Pharmacist to work alongside the Pharmacy Manager. The successful candidate will be required to consistently provide exceptional high levels of customer service and have the ability to work as a team within a busy community pharmacy.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including: pension, GPhC fees paid, 25 days holiday plus statutory days and 20% staff discount.

Essential Requirements: 

• Qualified pharmacist - Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or currently a pre-registration trainee scheduled to qualify in 2021;
• Degree in Pharmacy - BPharm or MPharm;
• Proficient in pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft applications;
• An up to date knowledge of changes within pharmacy;
• Enthusiastic with excellent leadership and communication skills;
• Excellent organisational skills;
• Provide an excellent level of customer service and patient care;
• Full driving licence and access to car;
• Eligibility to work in the UK;
• Flexibile attitude

Desirable Requirements:

• Previous experience within community pharmacy

Other Information:

This is a permanent position suitable for those seeking either Full Time or Part Time hours. Applicants ideally must be available to work Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 5:30pm as required per Pharmacy rota.
