Scholl Orthaheel - Regular Orthotic Heel & Ankle Stabiliser

Scholl Orthaheel Relieves Pain Associated with Plantar Fasciitis; Achilles Tendonitis and Heel Spurs.

Scholl Orthaheel inserts simply slip inside your shoes.

Did you know that more than 70% of people have a tendancy for their foot to roll-over inside, and gradually flatten? When walking our feet can pronate (roll over) to gain ground contact. This flattens the arches in our feet, and can disrupt normal knee function and hip alignment and increase pressure on the lower back. Back pain, hip problems, sore knees and ankles - all can be caused by the way we walk; and all can be helped by wearing a Scholl Orthaheel.

Our feet are our connection to the earth, and our body rests on them. Everything - from the ground up - depends on the position of our feet. Many common aches and pains - ankles, knees, hips, and back - occur from poor lower limb alignment.

Pain under the Heel: As your foot flattens out on the ground, the supporting tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot (plantar fascia) stretches. If these forces are excessive, they can lead to stress or inflammation of the tissues - causing pain under the heel when weight is placed on the foot.

Pain in the back of the Heel: Inflammation of the tissue that connects your calf muscle to the heel bone (Achilles tendon) can result from the position and movement of the foot. It can also be caused by injury.

Forces on the Knee: As your foot flattens out on the ground, the leg turns slightly to follow the movement of the foot. If the movement of your foot is too excessive (even slightly), causing your knee to turn farther than it can comfortably accomodate, the resulting forces on the knee may lead to stress and pain.

Scholl Orthaheel is an innovative, biomechanical solution made from the highest grade materials. It helps to realign your lower limbs - from foot to hip - restoring your feet and body back to a neutral positon. Scholl Orthaheel - Just as Nature Intended!

Designed by Australian podiatrist Phillip Vasyli, Scholl Orthaheel helps restore your natural foot function and well-being - with every step.

Our feet were designed to walk on soft, natural surfaces like soil and sand. Yet today we spend most of our time standing, walking and running on unnatural, hard surfaces. This loss of our "footprint" has resulted in a variety of pain and injuries - affecting not just our feet, but our entire body.

Unnatural surfaces force our feet to pronate (roll over) to gain ground contact, which flattens the arches and can disrupt normal knee function and hip alignment and increase pressure on the lower back.

Clinical and practical research has resulted in the unique Scholl Orthaheel orthotic design that helps restore your foot's natural (neutral) alignment, enabling the feet, ankles and legs to function as efficiently and dynamically as they were intended.

Scholl Orthaheel is available from Gordons Chemists Online in the following sizes:
