Calgel Teething Gel is used for teething pain.
Calgel Teething Gel helps relieve teething pain and soothe infant gums. It has mild anaesthetic properties.
Calgel contains Lidocaine - a local anaesthetic which means that it helps relieve teething pain and soothe infant's gums. It also contains Cetylpyridinium chloride - which has mild antiseptic properties, to help prevent infection.
Calgel Teething Gel - Instructions for Use:
Calgel Teething Gel is suitable for most children from the age of 3 months. Do not use in children under this age.
Place a small quantity of Calgel Teething Gel, approximately one-third of an inch (7.5mm) onto a clean pad of cotton wool or the tip of a clean finger. Gently rub onto the affected area of the gum. If necessary repeat after 20 minutes, up to six times in one day.
Calgel Teething Gel - Hazards and Cautions
Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you accidentally use too much, tell your doctor at once. If you cannot do this, go to the nearest hospital accident and emergency department. Take along any gel that is left, the tube and the carton so that the hospital can easily tell what medicine you have used.

Calgel Teething Gel is a medicine. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist.
Calgel Teething Gel should not be used if your child has an intolerance to some sugars. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist for further advice. Do not use Calgel Teething Gel if your child has ever had a bad reaction to chamomile, or any of the ingredients listed.
If your child experiences any of the following symptoms, discontinue use and seek the immediate advice of your doctor: Swelling of the mouth, gums or tongue; difficulty in breathing; rash.
Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
Calgel Teething Gel - Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Cetylpyridinium chloride BP 0.10 %w/w. Lidocaine Hydrocholride 0.33% w/w. Other Ingredients: Sorbitol solution (70%) (E240), xylitol (E967), ethanol 96%, glycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose 5000, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate (castor oil polyoxyl hydrogenated), macrogol lauryl ether 9, macrogol 300, saccharin sodium, levomenthol, pharmaceutical liquid flavour (containing chamomile), caramel (E150), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate and purified water. Sorbitol content 15% w/w.

Where we deliver to:
We accept orders from all over the UK and Ireland. Please note that delivery of certain items, due to weight restrictions, may not be possible to addresses in the Channel Islands, or in the Scottish Islands/Highlands.
Dispatch of Orders
We aim to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible, and no later than the next working day from when you placed it (please note that we reserve the right to extend this dispatch period, and that for reasons of stock it will not always be possible for us to dispatch orders within this timeframe). We offer a range of delivery options – giving you flexibility over when you can expect to receive your order. We offer an economy service, a standard delivery service (which should take 2-3 working days), and an express (1-2 working days) service.
Orders to the value of £40 and over are eligible for FREE delivery.
Orders placed before Noon using our Express delivery service will be delivered in 1-2 working days (this excludes weekends and Bank/Public Holidays).
Express delivery is applicable only to orders placed before Noon. Saturday Delivery is not available, although our couriers may attempt to deliver to you on a Saturday. We do not dispatch orders on Saturday/Sunday which will affect orders placed after Noon on a Friday. Public/Bank Holidays may affect delivery speeds. Certain addresses in the Scottish Islands/Highlands, and in the Channel Islands, may be exempt from Express delivery.
Please note that we are bound by the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002, which restrict the transport of dangerous goods by post. Certain items that are listed for sale on our website are available in limited quantities only. This includes aerosols, fragrances and nail polishes.
If an order is placed for goods that are classified as dangerous and we are unable to process the order, we will contact you and will keep you informed about how we can proceed with processing your order.
We are at the present time unable to ship goods outside of the UK and Ireland. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
This has been brought about as a result of recent changes to a list of prohibited goods that are not suitable for international/overseas delivery.
Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands
Please note that addresses in the Channel Islands, and a number of postcodes in the Scottish Islands & Highlands may be subject to an extended delivery period.
Please note that delivery to the Channel Islands, or to the following postcodes (Scottish Highlands & Islands) may result in a surcharge being applied: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, 60-78, PH17-26, 30-44, 49-50, ZE. This will not always be the case, and in the event that we are required to add a surcharge to your postage costs we will always contact you first to confirm your desire to proceed with placing an order.
Unfortunately we are unable to process orders placed by persons residing in the Channel Islands exempt of VAT. Please accept our apologies for this.
BFPO - British Forces Postal Addresses
We welcome orders placed by British Forces personnel, for delivery to a British Forces Postal Address. Orders will be sent via Royal Mail to the British Forces Post Office in London. At this point the parcel is signed for by, and becomes the responsibility of BFPO, to ensure delivery to the correct location.
Please note that due to the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations there are a number of products that we are unable to deliver to a British Forces address; including aerosols, fragrance, and nail polish.
Please note that a signature may be required for delivery of your order. In the event that you are not available to sign for your order, our courier may: (1) attempt to leave your order with a neighbour and obtain a signature from them for this, (2) take it to a local Royal Mail Delivery Office or their depot, for you to collect, or (3) make a second attempt at delivering your order to you. A card will be left following an attempted delivery, informing you where your order is being held for collection.
