The Calpol Vapour Plug & Nightlight contains a blend of aromatic oils including lavender, chamomile, menthol, camphor and eucalyptus. These oils help to soothe and comfort your child at night time whilst helping to ease breathing.

How to use

IMPORTANT: Read the carton and retain for future use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Cut across the top of the foil pouch to expose pad.
1. Using the foil to hold the pad, slide the pad into the slot of the vapour plug. When replacing a used pad, inserting a fresh pad will push out the old one. Dispose of used pads safely without touching them directly. Always wash hands after replacing pads.
2. Connect to power supply with the nightlight at the bottom. When using the vapour plug with a pad inserted, do not leave the unit in the plug socket for more than 16 hours at a time. After 16 hours, unplug the unit for a few hours before using again. Replace the pad before next use. Do not disassemble unit or nightlight. Nightlight goes on when the light goes out. When nightlight burns out replace  entire unit. Do not block airflow of vapour plug unit or light sensor on bottom. If the light sensor is blocked the nightlight will stay on.
3. Unplug the vapour plug when not in use.

TO INSERT A NEW PAD
Allow the unit to cool for 10 minutes. Open a refill pad as described above. Inserting a new pad will push out the old one.
Be careful whilst removing and inserting the new pads as the device contains hot surfaces.
Remove and sicard the old pad to use the nightlight alone.
Use only CALPOL Vapour Plug Refill Pads with the CALPOL Vapour Plug & Nightlight. The use of other substances may give rise to a toxic or fire risk.

TIPS FOR USE:

  • Allow 60-90 minutes for vapour to fill the room.
  • Strength of vapour will vary depending on room size and ventilation.
  • Vapour will be stronger, the closer the unit is to the user.

Hazards and Cautions

Do not use with children under 3 months of age or if you are pregnant.
If you have asthma or other allergies consult your doctor before using.
Do not eat the pads.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without supervision.

The appliance is only to be used with the recommended vapourising medium.
The appliance has hot surfaces to evaporate the active ingredients and these surfaces should not be touched during or immediately after use.

Do not touch the CALPOL Vapour Plug & Nightlight with wet hands or metal objects. Risk of electric shock.

Use only in a wall mounted socket. Do not use with an adaptor or extension lead.
Use with adequate ventilation. Do not use in small, confined areas. The vapour plug is not suitable for use in air conditioned environments. Do not place pads on varnished surfaces.

Keep away from fabrics, bedding and other materials that might present a fire hazard.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
Dispose of device and pads in accordance with applicable regulations.

We accept orders from all over the UK and Ireland. Please note that delivery of certain items, due to weight restrictions, may not be possible to addresses in the Channel Islands, or in the Scottish Islands/Highlands.

Dispatch of Orders

We aim to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible, and no later than the next working day from when you placed it (please note that we reserve the right to extend this dispatch period, and that for reasons of stock it will not always be possible for us to dispatch orders within this timeframe).  We offer a range of delivery options – giving you flexibility over when you can expect to receive your order. We offer an economy service, a standard delivery service (which should take 2-3 working days), and an express (1-2 working days) service.

Free P&P

Orders to the value of £50 and over are eligible for FREE delivery.

Express Delivery

Orders placed before Noon using our Express delivery service will be delivered in 1-2 working days (this excludes weekends and Bank/Public Holidays).

Express delivery is applicable only to orders placed before Noon. Saturday Delivery is not available, although our couriers may attempt to deliver to you on a Saturday. We do not dispatch orders on Saturday/Sunday which will affect orders placed after Noon on a Friday. Public/Bank Holidays may affect delivery speeds. Certain addresses in the Scottish Islands/Highlands, and in the Channel Islands, may be exempt from Express delivery.

Dangerous Goods

Please note that we are bound by the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002, which restrict the transport of dangerous goods by post. Certain items that are listed for sale on our website are available in limited quantities only. This includes aerosols, fragrances and nail polishes.

If an order is placed for goods that are classified as dangerous and we are unable to process the order, we will contact you and will keep you informed about how we can proceed with processing your order.

International Delivery

We are at the present time unable to ship goods outside of the UK and Ireland. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

This has been brought about as a result of recent changes to a list of prohibited goods that are not suitable for international/overseas delivery.

Please note that addresses in the Channel Islands, and a number of postcodes in the Scottish Islands & Highlands may be subject to an extended delivery period.

BFPO - British Forces Postal Addresses

We welcome orders placed by British Forces personnel, for delivery to a British Forces Postal Address. Orders will be sent via Royal Mail to the British Forces Post Office in London. At this point the parcel is signed for by, and becomes the responsibility of BFPO, to ensure delivery to the correct location.

Please note that due to the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations there are a number of products that we are unable to deliver to a British Forces address; including aerosols, fragrance, and nail polish.

Attempted Delivery

Please note that a signature may be required for delivery of your order. In the event that you are not available to sign for your order, our courier may: (1) attempt to leave your order with a neighbour and obtain a signature from them for this, (2) take it to a local Royal Mail Delivery Office or their depot, for you to collect, or (3) make a second attempt at delivering your order to you. A card will be left following an attempted delivery, informing you where your order is being held for collection.
