Who is the man behind the tattoos?

A few days ago on our blog we posted a video starring 'Zombie Boy'. The video was produced by Vichy, and showed the capabilities of their Dermablend Corrective Foundation - a body covered from head to toe in graphic tattoos was completely, flawless, and totally covered up using the product.

We've had lots of our followers responding to the video - some shocked, some who'd watched the video over and over - but all amazed at the tremendous coverage of Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation.

The star of the video - 'Zombie Boy' - is actually known as Rick Genest. A Canadian, from a working class family in Châteauguay, Quebec, he left home at 17 and became immersed in the punk scene in Montreal. Within a couple of years, Rico had decided to undertake his full body tattoo project, and the result is 80% skin coverage, with several Guinness World Records to his name: most insects tattooed on a human body, as well as the most bones inked on a human body.

He's starred in fashion shoots for Thierry Mugler; he's appeared in a Lady Gaga music video. He's posed for GQ, Vanity Fair, Vogue and Arena magazines; he's modelled on the catwalks of Paris, Milan, and New York, and played a starring role during the 2011 New York Fashion Week. He starred opposite Keanu Reeves in the film ’47 Ronin’.

His main passion is the circus - performing with a variety of unique acts, bringing them to international stages and delighting audiences with the weird and the wonderful.

We're of course interested in Rick because of the video he was involved in for Vichy Dermablend - see our blog post on Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation to see the video. The transformation is stunning and it shows what really can be achieved with this fabulous corrective foundation - from covering up tattoos that you want hidden, to masking birth marks or other blemishes, or simply getting yourself a flawless foundation that offers long lasting coverage.
