It contains an advanced* form of Folic Acid to help increase folate levels before conception¹ and support the healthy development of your baby in early pregnancy¹, Zinc to support your fertility,² Iron, Vitamins D & B12, and other expertly selected vitamins and minerals. Seven Seas Trying for a Baby provides an adequate intake of 400 μg of folate, provided by Folic Acid and L-methylfolate, in line with the recommended amount by the UK Department of Health when trying for a baby. Pack contains 28 tablets (4 weeks' supply). Take 1 tablet daily with water during a meal. Gluten-free, lactose-free, no GMOs. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. *Compared to Folic Acid, L-methylfolate is a form of folate which is ready to be used directly by your body. ¹Supplemental folic acid intake increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate level is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. For women of child-bearing age beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400μg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Development of neural tube defects have several risk factors.
