Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is used to cleanse and help prevent infection of cuts & grazes, insect bites & stings, minor burns & scalds, shaving cuts, spots and blackheads, and blisters & sores. It is also suitable for use on minor sunburn, and chapped skin.

New Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is a unique multi-action gel that helps to actively speed up healing and reduce the likelihood of scarring. It covers the wound and creates an optimal moist healing environment.

- Aids faster healing.
The unique hydrocolloid formulation (pH = 5.5) creates the optimal conditions for healing, and accelerates cell renewal. In the case of a dry wound Savlon Advanced Healing Gel turns the wound into a moist one. This promotes the dissolution of damaged tissue. In the case of a moist wound, excessive fluid is absorbed from the wound and the water balance is restored.

- Reduces the likelihood of scarring.
If used throughout the healing process, the formation of hard scab is prevented, and the chance of scarring is reduced.

- Quickly soothes pain
Helps to quickly reduce pain due to the gel’s cooling effect

Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is a hydroactive colloid gel for the treatment of wounds. It supports the healing of the skin by covering the wound, and creating an optimal moist healing environment. Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is for use on superficial burns and minor wounds (e.g. grazes, cuts). It may also be used on open wounds where there is not substantial breach of the dermis, and on superficial bedsores (only under the supervision of a nurse of doctor). If in any doubt, always consult a doctor or other healthcare professional before use.

Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is for external use only.

Do not use on an extensive weeping or infected wound, unless this is recommended by your doctor or healthcare professional. Wash hands immediately before and after treating the wound. Clean and gently dry the wound before applying Savlon Advanced Healing Gel.

Side effects such as skin irritations or allergic reactions are rare. Do not use Savlon Advanced Healing Gel where there is a known reaction to parabens or any of the ingredients (see below for a list of ingredients).

Do not use Savlon Advanced Healing Gel on the eyelids or in the eyes. If Savlon Advanced Healing Gel comes into contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes with running water and consult your doctor or healthcare professional.

If the wound becomes swollen, reddened or painful, or fails to begin healing within several days, consult your doctor or healthcare professional.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or healthcare professional before using Savlon Advanced Healing Gel.

Directions for Use:
Carefully apply Savlon Advanced Healing Gel to the wound, without rubbing, once or twice daily (in case of sunburn apply between 2-6 times daily).
If required, cover the wound with a plaster or dressing, and change daily.

Acid colloidal hydrocolloid, Arginine, Purified Water, Branch Chained Fatty Acid (BCFA), Methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate (E216).

Where we deliver to:

We accept orders from all over the UK and Ireland. Please note that delivery of certain items, due to weight restrictions, may not be possible to addresses in the Channel Islands, or in the Scottish Islands/Highlands.

Dispatch of Orders

We aim to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible, and no later than the next working day from when you placed it (please note that we reserve the right to extend this dispatch period, and that for reasons of stock it will not always be possible for us to dispatch orders within this timeframe).  We offer a range of delivery options – giving you flexibility over when you can expect to receive your order. We offer an economy service, a standard delivery service (which should take 2-3 working days), and an express (1-2 working days) service.

Free P&P

Orders to the value of £50 and over are eligible for FREE delivery.

Express Delivery

Orders placed before Noon using our Express delivery service will be delivered in 1-2 working days (this excludes weekends and Bank/Public Holidays).

Express delivery is applicable only to orders placed before Noon. Saturday Delivery is not available, although our couriers may attempt to deliver to you on a Saturday. We do not dispatch orders on Saturday/Sunday which will affect orders placed after Noon on a Friday. Public/Bank Holidays may affect delivery speeds. Certain addresses in the Scottish Islands/Highlands, and in the Channel Islands, may be exempt from Express delivery.

Dangerous Goods

Please note that we are bound by the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002, which restrict the transport of dangerous goods by post. Certain items that are listed for sale on our website are available in limited quantities only. This includes aerosols, fragrances and nail polishes.

If an order is placed for goods that are classified as dangerous and we are unable to process the order, we will contact you and will keep you informed about how we can proceed with processing your order.

International Delivery

We are at the present time unable to ship goods outside of the UK and Ireland. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

This has been brought about as a result of recent changes to a list of prohibited goods that are not suitable for international/overseas delivery.

Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands

Please note that addresses in the Channel Islands, and a number of postcodes in the Scottish Islands & Highlands may be subject to an extended delivery period.

Please note that delivery to the Channel Islands, or to the following postcodes (Scottish Highlands & Islands) may result in a surcharge being applied: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, 60-78, PH17-26, 30-44, 49-50, ZE. This will not always be the case, and in the event that we are required to add a surcharge to your postage costs we will always contact you first to confirm your desire to proceed with placing an order.

Unfortunately we are unable to process orders placed by persons residing in the Channel Islands exempt of VAT. Please accept our apologies for this.

BFPO - British Forces Postal Addresses

We welcome orders placed by British Forces personnel, for delivery to a British Forces Postal Address. Orders will be sent via Royal Mail to the British Forces Post Office in London. At this point the parcel is signed for by, and becomes the responsibility of BFPO, to ensure delivery to the correct location.

Please note that due to the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations there are a number of products that we are unable to deliver to a British Forces address; including aerosols, fragrance, and nail polish.

Attempted Delivery

Please note that a signature may be required for delivery of your order. In the event that you are not available to sign for your order, our courier may: (1) attempt to leave your order with a neighbour and obtain a signature from them for this, (2) take it to a local Royal Mail Delivery Office or their depot, for you to collect, or (3) make a second attempt at delivering your order to you. A card will be left following an attempted delivery, informing you where your order is being held for collection.
